The Announce List is a read-only list where Al-Anon members receive information about Al-Anon-related-announcements such as New Meetings, Meeting and Event changes, reminders of deadlines, confidential contact info for events, breaking news, and so on.

The following are some guidelines to help you, the Al-Anon member, to better understand the Al-Anon Announce List.

• The Al-Anon Announce List is an opt-in list managed by automated software. This means that each person must subscribe on their own if they wish to get the messages. The AISDV will not/cannot add anyone's email to the list.
• The Announce List posts are restricted to Al-Anon-related announcements only.
• Contact the AISDV Website Coordinator using the form below with any of the following:
  • A sudden cancellation of an event;
  • To post the contact's confidential information (first name and last initial and phone number) for an event like an Anniversary, Seminar, Workshop, ISS, Conventions, TEAM Seminars, etc.;
  • A temporary but sudden weather-related cancellation of an Al-Anon Meeting;
  • Any other announcement or breaking news for which there is no other listed contact person at the AISDV website.

For chairpersons with posting privileges:

• Please do NOT attach flyers; instead write the relevant information in the body of the email; flyers are already available on the calendar page. (Messages over 40K will be rejected.)
• Please ensure that the subject line of the message is relevant to the message content.

To sign up for the Announce List, enter your email and click Join. For security reasons, you must reply to the confirmation email you will receive. If you do not see this confirmation email, check your spam folder. Every email from the Announce List will contain information at the bottom with instructions to unsubscribe.
